CBOR Renews CPIX.net Agreement to Provide Commercial Property Data to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation
Grand Blanc, Michigan, June 13, 2019. The Commercial Board of REALTORS® – Michigan (CBOR) is pleased to announce that it’s statewide Commercial Property Information Exchange; www.CPIX.net, will continue to be the main source of available commercial property data for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s (MEDC) website, www.michiganbusiness.org. This relationship has been extended for another three years.
CBOR, with 700+ members, provides Michigan’s commercial real estate practitioners with industry-related professional services and benefits. One of CBOR’s greatest member benefits is www.CPIX.net, the statewide commercial property information exchange (CIE). CPIX is a commercial marketing platform that averages over 17,000+ commercial properties available for sale or lease. Coupled with 17+ years of property history, CPIX allows professionals the ability to analyze local market statistical trends. CPIX is governed and operated by the CBOR Board of Directors, and offers a state, national, and international public interface.
CPIX, powered by Catylist, Inc. technology, provides options for Economic Development including membership, “EDCLink”, and regional data exports. The relationship between CBOR and the MEDC began in 2007 when CBOR and Catylist teamed up to create an economic development solution per the request of the MEDC. Throughout the years, this relationship has evolved and adapted to changing technology. Member data is used by the MEDC for RFP responses to global business attraction projects. Along with the MEDC, CPIX provides data to Ann Arbor SPARK, Southwest Michigan First, Oakland County, St. Clair County, Monroe County BDC, the City of Fenton, the City of Auburn Hills, the City of Battle Creek, the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP), and the Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance. Brad Viergever, Vice President of Signature Associates in Southfield and 2019/2020 President of CBOR said “We are pleased to continue our strong relationship between commercial real estate brokers and the MEDC. By working together, we are able to maximize each of our services. This cooperation benefits companies interested in locating in Michigan or expanding their presence within the State. The joint effort is healthy for our real estate market and keeps Michigan competitive with the rest of the country.”
CPIX.net is available to the public allowing anyone to search and market their commercial properties for free to CPIX members. Membership upgrades are available to real estate licensees, appraisers, and economic development professionals. Membership is required to have listing data included in exports.
